Youtube

Ok, this will be the most random post, I'm sorry. I'm pretty much going to share with you seven of my favorite videos. There are so many great videos on Youtube and I think I might post my most recent finds on Youtube at the end of my posts. (I'm not sure, but I'll try) It's just so you can have a good laugh (or whatever) everytime you visit my blog.

I'll understand if you can't watch all these, but perhaps if you can watch one here and there, maybe like one a day to give yourself a happy boost for the day or whatever (I am being so articulate aren't I?)

Let's just delve into the 7 I have chosen for this post:

1 - This clip reminds me of Nate. The instant I saw this I thought, "Nate! This movie was made for you! Sarah, too!"

2 - This made me laugh and I think it has pretty good acting (Better than many people in Hollywood).

3 - Ok, this one is just plain weird... Honestly, I sat back in agahst when I saw this for the first time. I'm sure you'll be watching and think, "This guy has a good voice. He sounds like the guy in the movie. Is he lip synching? (He's not) What is Andrew showing me?" Just wait. Halfway through you will understand.

4 - Ok, this made me so happy... I almost cried! (Ok, I didn't... but seriously...) It combines two of my favorite things into one.

5 - Ok, who doesn't love John Williams? Well this is a musical tribute to him and all his amazing music. (Oh, and the song was performed by Moosebutter who are native to Provo!) The guy is just lip synching... but he did a good job.

6 - Ok, only watch this if you've seen The Ring. Someone took clips from The Ring and edited it into this tearjerking preview.

7 - This is the last one, I promise! Everyone has seen Mary Poppins, right? Well this is a preview for "Scary Mary."

Well I hope you've enjoyed these movies! And thank you for allowing me to use 20 minutes of your day!

Milkless

Ok, I did it! I just drank the last drop of milk I will have for the next 21 days! I know! TWENTY-ONE! 3 weeks!

I don't know if you realize how much milk means to me. I drink two gallons of milk a week. Easily. I definitely drank more milk than water. Milk goes with anything! Anything! I proclaimed it the "Nectar of the Gods" regularly. When I told some of my friends what I was doing they looked at me as though I was pinching my oxygen line that was keeping me alive.

Am I crazy? Definitely.

Will I be better for it? I better be.

Was this my crazy idea? Definitely NOT.

It was actually Christine's. She told me all about the health things concerning milk and somehow convinced me to try going milk free for 21 days! We both set goals to do for 21 days straight and we both started today at 12 am... She's probably asleep so she didn't realize the impact of midnight, but it's ok. (Actually she started an hour ago because of the time difference) The prize of keeping our goals? Well of course self-improvement and the satisfaction of doing something amazingly difficult, but also if the other person reaches their goal, the other has to blog more. Three extra posts for the month of December! (Since I'm sparatic on my posting and sometimes just go crazy I'm not sure how many that adds to for me... but we'll figure that out later)

I know we all want Christine to post more, so root me on! :D

My Calling

I have finally received my calling and I'm so excited! I am the Librarian! It seemed like a really nice calling when I first heard I was going to be the Librarian but when I went in to get set apart I heard a little more about it and it seems like a hard calling, but I'm pumped for it!

Oh! And I get an assistant! How cool is that!? Anyway, I was pretty excited, and just wanted to let you guys know!
Do I look like a librarian?

The Un-Testimony

So, today we had a very interesting incident in Sacrament Meeting. The first counselor got up to conduct the meeting and said that there were some announcements that he needed to share with us but first a girl had asked if she could share an announcement with us. He has said yes and so he turned the time over to her.

She stood at the pulpit and then started reminding us of her testimony that she shared last Fast Sunday about how she knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet of god and that the Book of Mormon was true and so forth.

Well then she said, "I'm sorry, I take that all back. Those are things that I have asked the Lord to reveal unto me but I haven't been answered yet and so I should have said that I believe those things were true not that I know they are."

And then she sat down... It was probably one of the most awkward things I've ever seen happen in Sacrament Meeting...

Presidential Election

So, Obama won. I'm a little disappointed, but I'm not surprised. I wasn't sure who I was going to vote for until the day of. I knew I wasn't going to vote for Obama, but I didn't know if I was going write in someone or not... At the very end I decided I enjoyed SNL's skits of Palin so much that I would really like another four years of those skits. Too bad... I hope they'll still continue somehow...

Hi! I'm still alive! (in case you were wondering)

Wow! How long has it been? Alright to get you caught up really quickly. After I returned from my mission to Quebec, Canada, I got married to Cynthia. I graduated from USU with departmental honors a while ago. After applying to many graduate schools we found out we had been accepted to Eastman! So we've moved into a small apartment in Rochester, New York. And, big news, we're expecting our first child! We're not sure if it's a boy or girl yet. We're going to wait until the baby's born. Just five more weeks! (yay!)

Ok, so seriously...

Oh! I have way too much to talk about! This may be a long post, I guess it depends if I can just keep myself going or if I get sick of it. You'll have to judge for yourself once I'm done.

Ok, actually the thing that has taken me the longest to post is the fact that I don't have all the pictures that I want. Josh has them all, but seriously........., I don't think I'll ever get them so I'm gonna post now! :D (Just not as many lovely pictures... sorry...

Alright! First week was connections and that was way fun. We had the author of A Long Way Gone come and talk to us and sign books! I was in line for ever to get him to sign my book! He stayed way longer than he meant to, but when he cut the line off, I was the next book he was going to sign! So I never got it signed but I did get majorly cut off... sadness... :'(

Classes are just fabulous up here! I'm taking Keyboard Harmony, Music Theory, Aural Skills, Private Vocal and Piano Instruction, Planet Earth, English 1010, and Book of Mormon 1st half.

Logan is a beautiful place! I love the fall colors! Actually it was beautiful before the leaves changed as well. I absolutely love trees! It has rained a few times while I've been up here and it's been fabulous!

We had a pancakes at midnight party too!

We've had a lot of fun up here and I can't tell you everything we've done. I can't remember it all! We have had some wicked sweet rounds of press conference (Mckay swallowed a pregnant raccoon which had babies in his stomach)

Here's our trunk or treating night and halloween:

BTW Ryan's shirt says:

Shirt: $25.00
Pants: $45.00
Shoes: $60.00
Having a costume that took minimal effort: Priceless
