LOST

Oh my gosh...

Well, I've always wanted to see Lost, but I missed the first few episodes and never really got into it. Then Sarah, my kind sister-in-law, informed me that they had all the seasons on the internet! Well, I thought I might look at one and see how I like it.

Oh my gosh! Addicting!

I want to recommend it to all of you, but at the same time I want to say that you should stay away if you get hooked on shows the way I do. But it's so worth being hooked on!

Anyway, random little post! :D

General Conference

Isn't our church amazing? We lose our leader and we never lose our footing.

In the past weekend it was nice to see President Monson step up and take charge. He assured us it was okay to laugh.

I like how some speakers commented about President Hinckley, and of course we will never forget him, but we must push on!

Ok, so now to the meat:
My favorite talk was definitely President Monson's during the Priesthood Session. It was the first talk since being the prophet and it was a great way to start off. It was brilliant in it's writing. He started off with a joke, grabbed our attention and when it was about time for the deacons to start drifting off, he came up with another joke. I love how he has this incredible gift to tell jokes and quickly bring the spirit back. Of course I loved the message of the talk and I do remember a lot of it but I'm definitely going to read it once it comes out on Thursday (isn't the internet amazing?) since I didn't take notes like I should have.

This was my favorite General Conference ever. I'm not sure if it was the content or that I may just be maturing (gasp!). I can't wait for another six months!

Now it's your turn! I want to know your thoughts and feelings! What was your favorite talk (or two) and why?

Six billion, six hundred fifty-nine million, eight hundred nintey-one thousand, six hundred sixty-one. That is the population of Earth according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Isn't it great to know, that you are just as important, terrific, and amazing as anyone of them in Heavenly Father's great plan?

Just thought that everyone could always use a lift-me-up.
