In the past weekend it was nice to see President Monson step up and take charge. He assured us it was okay to laugh.
I like how some speakers commented about President Hinckley, and of course we will never forget him, but we must push on!
Ok, so now to the meat:
My favorite talk was definitely President Monson's during the Priesthood Session. It was the first talk since being the prophet and it was a great way to start off. It was brilliant in it's writing. He started off with a joke, grabbed our attention and when it was about time for the deacons to start drifting off, he came up with another joke. I love how he has this incredible gift to tell jokes and quickly bring the spirit back. Of course I loved the message of the talk and I do remember a lot of it but I'm definitely going to read it once it comes out on Thursday (isn't the internet amazing?) since I didn't take notes like I should have.
This was my favorite General Conference ever. I'm not sure if it was the content or that I may just be maturing (gasp!). I can't wait for another six months!
Now it's your turn! I want to know your thoughts and feelings! What was your favorite talk (or two) and why?

I agree, it was an amazing conference. I definitely makes a difference when your heart and mind are prepared for the messages. Way to be mature. :) Keith told me about Pres Monson's talk during Priesthood session and it was fantastic. I'm excited to read the whole thing too.
I loved conference. although, i didn't listen as intently as i wanted to. kierscha wanted to play with me. my favorite talk was the last talk of the whole conference. he talked on mothers and it was awesome. (can't remember who it was, sorry)
Amen Brother!
You inspire me...I'll have to do a write-up from conference on my blog soon as well...thanks for the great example bro!
Sar, I think it was Elder Ballard? That was one of my favorite talks!
It was a great conference and each talk was meaningful. Even though I took notes, I can't remember who said what very well. I'm looking forward to the Ensign coming out. I do remember loving Elder Uchdorf's talk and Elder Holland's. Elder Uchdorf(sp) is so positive and unbeat about our glorious Gosepl. Elder Holland is great at explaining the Atonement and his talk seemed like a continuation from the last conference which was heavy in doctrine.
Great example to us, Andrew!
