Morp

Wow! I know it's super late but I've been a little busy, as I'm sure many of you have been as well.

Ok, so first, I was in my fit for life class (I know, I put it off until the last minute, but whatever) and we were rollerblading. (By the way, I'm awful at rollerblading! I have no balance whatsoever and so my progress was really slow. It was great to watch all the sophomores pass me by as I struggled to go in a straight line.) Well, there were actually a few of us that were struggling... I was just the worst. One of the other ones was Karlei Clement. She's a senior as well who decided to put this class off until the last minute. (Actually there were a bunch of seniors in there with me.) We decided to stick together (which was probably not a good idea since our instincts both told us that if we fall we should grab on to the person next to us, well the closest thing we had was eachother and all we did was drag eachother down, but that's ok, whatever right?). Anyway, we got separated because she fell down and didn't grab on to me and I didn't really know how to stop... Well she called out my name so the next chance I could I latched myself to a wall and waited for her to come around the corner. When she came into view she said, "Hey! Wanna go to morp with me?" So I said, "Of course!" Yeah it was a pretty simple, very relaxing way to ask. Very easy to think of a way to answer her.

So morp rolled around and the theme was "Around the World" we decided to dress up as- drumroll please- *drumroll* Americans! Very easy!

She picked me up at sometime (Sorry I don't remember every detail at this point...) And we crammed into Aimee's tiny little- I don't know what kind of car it was but trust me... it was small. We headed off to Lazer Quest! Yay! When we got there we had to think up aliases for ourselves. I was Dr. Jekyll (The girl at the counter couldn't spell so I was actually Dr. Jackel but whatever) Karlei was Hotstuff. So we went in with intent to kill and twenty seconds into the game we got separated. Oh well. I found two people from our group on a tower and formed an alliance with them. We held our tower well. It was great! We were in a very nice spot to snipe many, many people and could ambush people below us. The walk way up to our tower was a long winding path so it wasn't easy to get up there. Anyway I ended up fifth out of twenty and so I felt pretty good. Karlei was around sixteen but she was pumped that she didn't get last. So that was good! :D

We went to eat at Empire! I love that place! It has great food! We got Chicken Lo Mein and cream cheese wontons which I had never had! It was really good. The wontons left the best aftertaste ever! YUM!

Well, the actual dance was awesome! Each section of the gym had a different part of the world. We went and got group pictures and headed back to the dance. It was super fun! We pretty much danced and danced and we saw our friends, said hi, you know the usual stuff you do at dances.

Well after the dance we were all pretty tired so we went home! It was super fun!
